Golden Grove Electrical and Data Services sponsors Breast Cancer Breakfast

This year, the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Breakfast aims to raise $1.5 million to fund research into the effective prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer and Golden Grove Electrical and Data Services is getting on board to help.

Research and awareness has the potential to save thousands of lives and every dollar helps, which is why Steve and the team at Golden Grove Electrical and Data Services are keen to do their bit for a cause that’s close to their hearts.

Vicki’s PRB is hosting her fifth Pink Ribbon Breakfast on Saturday October 19, and at the event, every guest will receive a voucher for 10% off electrical and data services.

From every job booked with those vouchers, Steve Hall, owner and operator of Golden Grove Electrical and Data Services will donate 5% of sales to National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Steve says he is happy to be contributing to the much-needed fundraising for this incredibly important cause, which is one that is close to his heart.

“Nearly everyone you meet has been touched by cancer in some way and I want to do my bit to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation try to save lives through research and awareness,” he says.

“My mother had breast cancer, so our family knows how hard it is to go through that and we want to make a difference. The Pink Ribbon Breakfast is an excellent way to get people together and raise some cash and Vicki always does a great job with the event.”

Discount vouchers can be used for electrical services, like Lighting and LED installations, safety switches, rewiring and renovations, home automation, such as monitoring and controlling lighting, appliances, air conditioning, security systems, and audio visual systems; or data services for all phone, internet, optical fibre, TV, computer, audio visual and home entertainment cabling.

No job is too big or small for Steve and the team, and even if it’s just a quick fix electrical or data job, 5% off the invoice will still go to NBCF.

Metastatic (secondary) breast cancer is the leading cause of breast cancer deaths, and by raising funds through the Pink Ribbon Breakfast this October we can help NBCF work towards their goal of zero deaths from breast cancer.

Steve and the Golden Grove Electrical and Data Services team are looking forward to helping Vicki and her Pink Ribbon Breakfast guests raise some much needed dollars and being part of a fantastic cause.
